Cheap marshmallows, the small ones that are about marble size. One day I forgot to take them so just got some corn off the spinner of the feeder and filled the tube and scattered some on the ground around it.

I checked the traps today, and didn't have any bait missing on two different feeders, so it appears they are cleaned out for now until some others move in to take their place.

I like using those marshmallows, but I don't seem to have good luck with them in the colder weather. I have better luck with wet cat food, and fish oil when it's cold.

    Thanks for sharing.

I bought some Coon Grabbers off the internet once that were awesome. They are a little round rubber feeling scented baits that come in several different scents like raspberry and licorice. They are waterproof and last a long time. If I remember right they were less than $10 delivered for a pack of 12. Google Coon Grabbers and you will find them.

Well, I just reviewed my cams. I have 6 coons on one feeder still alive. I had those DP's filled with corn last night but no takers. They were all coming out of the milo field behind the feeder so they were probably full. I use wet cat food in the live traps. .55 cents at the Dollar General. Trapped 14 coons in the live trap a couple of years ago just off our front porch. Wife has bird feeders out and feeds the deer corn every evening, so the coons come in to pick up the leftovers. Couldn't believe there were that many around the house, but we aren't far from the Arkansas river.

I'll research those Coon Grabbers Murph. Cheap enough.

Edit: ordered a dozen of the shellfish.

30 minutes after setting up for the afternoon hunt on 11/14/19 had this young doe come in for a 15 yd shot. Only waited 30 min to get down to track because earlier in the week let a doe I shot sit overnight due to a marginal shot and lost all the meat to coyotes.
