A really light type of rubber consistency. More like a firm jelly. They are kind of tough to get under the trigger at first, but once I found out the method, it was pretty easy. Used a phillips screwdriver to push it under the trigger which is the same tool used to reset the DP.

Did scatter some marshmallows around to interest them because they are curious hunters.
Read a report today that a guy used cheap dog food nuggets. Then he put a red solo cup over the DP for two reasons. One to keep the dog food dry and the other to attract the coons.
They see the red solo cup and think a party is getting ready to happen or something.

Shot this guy at first light. I thought he was a different buck that I’d identified as a target buck but he was a similar rack configuration but smaller. Could have used another year to grow but it’s meat in the fridge. That’s what distance and low light will do to ya.

On the back porch saturday night sippin on somethin on ice pondering the duality of man and what makes a rainbow good when I hear a rooster start acting pestered then boys the whole flock wakes up! The Watts Riots couldnt have been much louder im tellin ya. My mind aborts all previous consuming matters and i snap from my chair in a level of alertness usually reserved only for miniature Dachshunds and Jack Russell's. Flashlight in right hand single action 22wmr for the left. Both feet bare, that call coming from the drink previously mentioned telling me NO TIME! I get to the chickens and see eyes everywhere, grinners everywhere, panicked yard bird everywhere! 6 shot single action starts singin in the chaos and boys she was singin on key.

Ok they really move slow however i got four to sleep of 6 shots and protected the homestead.
    Pictures to come.

America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.
