    Big sisters turn

My oldest girl Mattie shot this buck not long after Ella shot hers. We knew she hit it but we could not find any blood. After a lunch break and quick nap we went back to look for it. Took a couple hours but we found it. This deer was shot in the heart also but ran about 400 yards in an arc. Found it laying behind a pond in the locust trees. It was a less than desirable drag out but worth every step.

No. Shot it with her 223. Not my first choice but it’s her gun and she’s comfortable with it. The shot was only 100 yards or so.

Felt like a ton dragging it out of those locust trees and getting it in the Polaris. I bet it was 190+ field dressed

Nice! Not sure what bullet you're using in the .223 but reloas for 2 guy who use a .222 and a .223. Once I started reloading 60gr nosler partitions, they said it was night and day difference on deer.
