LOL, I saw an outdoor oklahoma TV program last week where they announced the end of snipe season. My first thought was sitting in a field with a gunny sack at my uncles farm.
He let my cub scout group and my sisters girl scout group camp there. He was always willing to take newbs out for snipe hunts. After our first hunts, we were "co-conspirators". LOL

I posted the same on another forum, and actually found that some hunt common snipes and had some great recipes for them.

Son has a camping trip to the Washita NWR this weekend. Today is my Friday so I won't be going.

Always great to get someone to look up snipes and find out they are real. Then go on the hunt!
