    Finally got out. Hunted a couple of hours and found one big covey. Saw a couple of roosts. Was very thick cover. Almost too thick. Son connected on the coveyrise. My old dog is 13 and he isnít getting too far from me. Would sure like to head west for a trip but I just donít think he could hunt too long. Heading up into SE Kansas tomorrow morning to check a few spots.

    Congrats on getting the kids out and getting them into birds. Hate to hear your dog is getting along in years. They work their butts off for you for the pure pleasure of doing so.

    That Rooster flush was caught perfectly!
    Drove through that neck of the woods Friday, and back through it today. Didn't really see any birds in the ditch like normal, but did see some antelope just west of Buffalo about 10 miles or so.
