    Public Land

Thanks for taking time to read. Couple of veterans trying to jump into deer hunting. We decided to get our feet wet but didn't draw this year - we both live in Tulsa - looking for advice on which public land to hunt. Any advice is appreciated!

Rifle for sure this year. Also open to black powder - the most important thing is to avoid sitting out another year

    Appreciate the assistance!

At the very start of this forum we have supplied links to the ODW and the Corps of Engineers Tulsa District public hunting lands. It's a wealth of information about the areas and the regulations that apply to each. Some have different regs than others.

You can contact the area biologist to get their recommendations as well.
