    Core Land

Was wanting to go hog hunting with a couple of friends on some core land around Lake Texoma. Tried looking at their regulations on Corp of engineers page and wasn’t real clear, anyone know the regulations? Rifles? Shotguns? Camping?

First of all, welcome to Oklahoma Hunter!
Hog hunting regulations can be tough to follow in Oklahoma.
Here is a link to the Lake Texoma public hunting areas.

Here is a link to the Ok Dept of Wildlife pig hunting regulations

Each of those public hunting areas on Texoma May have their own regulations.
For example, areas close to camping or public areas may only allow archery while public hunting areas that are isolated will allow firearms.
Find a spot or spots on the map where you want to hunt and contact the local CORPS of Engineers office or the county game warden to see what weapons are allowed.

Hang around and let us know how you do. We are interested in others hunts. You don't have to give away any location.

Contacted the local game warden and he said I’ll have to ask the corps of engineers. I emailed them and currently waiting on a response. And thank you for all the warm welcomes!
