    Greetings from North Texas

Howdy! My name is Brian. I do hog and varmint control on about a dozen different properties in north Texas, primarily Montague County, just south of the Red River. Occasionally, I help out a buddy in southern SE OK with his hog issues. I hunt almost exclusively at night using thermal gear. I try to get video of all my hunts for the landowners so that they can see what I am doing on their properties at night. Those I put out on YouTube under the channel "Carpe Sus." Once in a while, I like to check out the performance of the bullets passing through hogs, looking at how much they penetrate, what damage they do, and what, if any part of the bullet is recoverable. I look forward to reading more about OK hunting.

Yeah, my Oklahoma buddy and I continually rib one another about how things are done. He says that some of the stuff I do while hunting must be "a Texas thing." He may be right.

Welcome to the site and I wish ya luck on killin' hogs!!!
America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.

If by "Texas thing" you mean sipping your unsweetened tea and making disgusted faces each time you step in a cow flop, you are correct Sir....
