Hoping to utilize my traditional gear more going forward I am targeting public lands with higher all around deer counts.
Currently looking at James Collins WMA as it’s a short day drive from home in South Louisiana.

Hopefully things will work out for a trip this fall.
    Good luck to all.
    Best,

Welcome to Oklahoma Hunter!! I wouldn't say James Collins is a short dive away from your place in south Louisiana lol. Less humidity for sure. My son drew a spring turkey tag at JC. Awesome place to just roam around. We saw lots and lots of deer.
