    Caged Cat

    Caught a small tom today, turned him back out to grow up. When they stick their tongue out at you....watch out! lol

    He's a little angry in the second pic!

    They do get that angry look when in a cage.

    Bullbuster did a European on a cat I trapped a couple of years ago. Just the skull with all the teeth is pretty awesome looking. He even found the .22 short in the brain cavity used to put him down.

    I was just as shocked when I found the bullet. Makes for a great conversation piece now.

    I don't know why you didn't just reach in there and pull him out. I'm sure he would have calmed right down and started purring as soon as you put your hand in there.

    I knew a guy that trapped one, and caged it at home for a pet before finding out it was illegal.

    He opened the door to put in some chicken scraps, and came out with a bloody arm. Those guys are fast!

    I've got a few 8-10 pound, "tame" housecats - I couldn't imaging tangling with something that large & wild.

    I think they are about the best looking wild critter around, but I'd sure hate to attempt to tame one!
