Had some friends look in the western part of the state and didn't find any. The rains here and in the NW part of the state weren't bad. So Kaw Lake may not be going into too much of a flood. Water coming into the lake is bringing lots nutrients. The shad and bluecats are hot right now in the upper end of the lake. Next week when it gets into the 80's, there is no telling how good the fishing will be.

We had a few days of fake spring and since we now have fresh snow again, I’m glad I made the best of my days off. We had to get out and get away this week. Went and did some trout fishing with no luck. I think they are on lockdown as well. We did see a group of bighorn sheep with young rams in it. My first sighting of them since being here. This was only about 25 miles north of our place. Some roads have opened up again but many are still blocked by snow drifts.
Couple pics of the bighorn sheep and my boys and I next to one of the cleared spots. It’s about 7’ deep. You can see up the road where it’s still blocked. This is about 12 miles south of us.

It’s amazing what some wind will do to a little snow.

I need to bale the clover in my back yard today. Starting to lose the little dogs in it.
