Buy me a ticket to Alaska. It’s April and I ain’t been there yet this year. Second thing I’d do is go to a sale and buy a few calves.

Its coming up on summertime. Us vagabonds need to head to the mountains to escape the heat!

Yea it’s a nice place to visit. I’ve been several times since my son has lived there the last ten years. He’s lived up north by Fairbanks and now lives down by Homer. The northern lights are pretty amazing and of course the fishing. Probably my favorite trip was a caribou trip in August hunting off the Denali highway.

We used to fly Army guys to Alaska drop them off and then we'd be off for the rest of the 1-2 weeks that they would be doing Army stuff. We'd go fish and sight see and other touristy stuff. Of course we'd find the strange places where they'd serve liquid that'd make you feel all weird and girl's clothes would fall off at the sight of money. It was strange.

But winter time is not a great time to be there.

America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.
