I was also told to inspect window/ door seals and any roof vents as well.

Agree, the roof is probably the most important. If water gets into the walls, the layers will delaminate and form bubbles on the outside.
Stay away from aluminum side RV’s. They show hail damage.
Walk around the unit and run your hand along the outside. If you feel a bubble or soft spot run away from that unit.
Tires, tires, tires. Check the age of the existing tires. It’s stamped on the sidewalks. Max life is 7 years.
If they need replaced, you have a bargaining tool.
Goodyear endurance is hands down the tire of choice for replacement.
Check every electrical outlet, stove, AC and the heater for operation before buying.
Check the seal around where the electric plugs in. Some of them are hard to instal and remove. That seal has been known to leak. Check closely on the inside wall for water damage in that area.

Rockwoods have aluminum frames also. I would stay away from jaycos. They look Nice but cheaply built. Watched a YouTube video on how they built and entire trailer in like 6hrs.

Jayco’s are pretty much entry level but they do have a 5th wheel model called Pinnacle that is their entry to the “luxury” class.
Never toured one so that is just sales hype we heard.

Frankly speaking, I'm also looking for an RV and firstly I stopped on Rockwood mini lite. There are many good reviews according to these models. Honestly from the beginning, I decided to economize and take something small and compact. The prices are affordable enough for us. But after starting browsing the internet I'm leaning more and more towards a full-fledged trailer in which you can live. I've even taken a look for some main equipment for the kitchen, shower, sleeping space and washing/drying machines https://www.palmgear.com/best-rv-was...combo-reviews/ So, I understood that I have to collect some more money for this pleasure.

Some of our RV camping buddies have a Rockwood 27’ bumper pull.
They have a lot of room inside with that floor plan.

I’ll have to look into those. 27’ is bigger than what we are looking at.
