Yea, I've had a Ruger 77 for probably 3 years now...They really are fun and will do some amazing stuff...I think the best group I've shot with mine was around 5/16 inch which ain't that bad for an old fat man...the one thing that I have noticed is they hardly ever knock anything over...Shoot a coyote with one and he will normally fall straight down...I guess there isn't enough mass to the bullet to push anything over but there will be a small bomb go off inside the animal..My brother-in-law lives in western Kansas and pumps gas wells for a living...He takes his 204 on about a 175 mile trip everyday and he told me the same thing..that a lot of the stuff just drops straight down...another thing that surprised me...I have shot several armadillos with mine and it just won't shoot thru one...but the entrance hole gets really ugly...all in all I would have to say it is my second favorite rifle...My first probably has to be my 17 hmr...which is still the most accurate rifle I have ever owned...and to me accuracy is what counts on any gun...If you can't hit it...there ain't no need to shoot...
