Sasakwa has had one for a year or so. He is totally impressed with the accuracy, and destructive power on small critters ;D

Yea, I've had a Ruger 77 for probably 3 years now...They really are fun and will do some amazing stuff...I think the best group I've shot with mine was around 5/16 inch which ain't that bad for an old fat man...the one thing that I have noticed is they hardly ever knock anything over...Shoot a coyote with one and he will normally fall straight down...I guess there isn't enough mass to the bullet to push anything over but there will be a small bomb go off inside the animal..My brother-in-law lives in western Kansas and pumps gas wells for a living...He takes his 204 on about a 175 mile trip everyday and he told me the same thing..that a lot of the stuff just drops straight down...another thing that surprised me...I have shot several armadillos with mine and it just won't shoot thru one...but the entrance hole gets really ugly...all in all I would have to say it is my second favorite rifle...My first probably has to be my 17 hmr...which is still the most accurate rifle I have ever owned...and to me accuracy is what counts on any gun...If you can't hit it...there ain't no need to shoot...

I bet a 204 and a Vmax would do some awesome damage. A lot of pelt hunters like the fact that you might not get an exit hole, one less hole in the pelt.

I shot a coyote a few weeks ago that was looking at me at about 150 yards...I hit him dead center in the brisket area...He dropped straight down and never fell to his side...You could not find the entrance hole and of course there was no exit hole...I skinned him (for a friend) and the hide actually had a small 20 caliber hole in the brisket area...BUT....he was totally mush for about the first 8 inches of his chest...
If you like something that goes smack....Shoot a squirrel in the head with a 17 hummer...there won't even be any ears left...it's amazing.........Happy shooting...Oh and another fun thing to do with the 204...shoot turtles on a log with it....see how much they explode....

A 22-250 V-max will turn a turtle into a red mist and knock his buddies on the log about 10 yrs to the bank. Looootssss of fun!

I use to shoot ground squirrel's with a 7mm Rem Mag W/ 175 grain Remington Core Lokt's. (Puff) Nothing but hair for day's.
The 220 Swift did the same for less cost on ammo as well.
