Put a few cylinders of .38 SPL and .357 mag through this guy when my boy was out visiting last week. Both loads were using a 125gr Rainier bullet over 5.7 and 9.0gr Unique. This revolver flat out loved them.

It is a 627-0, Model of 1989. Pretty rare bird, but not as rare as the pricing would have you figure. I impulse jumped on this when I came across it on Gunbroker with 2 minutes left on bidding...glad I didn't get a clunker...it would have served me right.

I am sure it shoots better than me. Some guns just allow me to shoot to the best of my abilities much faster. This is one of them.

Hahaha...guns like this one are just like the bathroom towels and second set of pillows for a wife...they're just merely for decoration.

However, if I were stinking rich I'd carry this one in a heartbeat.

Nice diggler! I had no idea the value or what I was buying back in either late 80s or early 90s(would need to go dig out the box and bill of sale). But, this one shoots pretty damn good too! 686-3

Those 686s have really shot up in value since the COVID thing hit. Very nice revolver.

Funny Dennis is I only own a handful of firearms and the couple worth anything are ones I bought when I was just getting out of college and didn't know anything at all but Dirty Harry and Miami Vice!
