Bird, I'm about there after reading how the Dems are going to use the $1.9T that I'm helping to fund. These next 2 years will be brutal and I'm only saying 2 hoping that a couple of seats will get flipped. If not, it'll be a long 4 years. Let's not get that discussion started - my blood pressure can't handle it and Friday's are supposed to be relaxing!
I'm with Smokewagon - I ain't giving up any firearms or ammo and don't plan on paying any taxes to keep them either. I think that I only registered 2 of my handguns as they were purchased new at a retail store. No record of anything else. Unfortunately, if they come knocking for those 2, they were both stolen and never recovered.
With the ridiculously high prices for ammo, I can't afford to go practicing unless it's with a .22! They're definitely winning the "war" on sales of ammo like 9mm or .40 where I couldn't afford to buy even if I found any to buy.
I think ammo has been in the crosshairs for a while now. I recall a huge shortage of brass during the Obama years where couldn't even find .22 ammo and if you did then were limited to 50 or 100 rounds.
