Who's has them, and what do you ride?

for me, I have a 1985 Honda ATC 250sx that I bought at a farm auction last fall that had a good strong motor and drive line, but looks like it had been flipped about 10 times. Every piece of plastic and metal other than the frame was bent, cracked, or broken, so it came pretty cheap. I've been hanging out on ebay picking up parts and pieces, and finally have it in really good shape. Only have one more thing to do, and that is get the fuel tank powder coated, and new stickers put on. I wish I had "before" pics, but I didn't take any. I'll get some pics taken of the "after", and get them posted. I really enjoy riding it. Need to get it back out to Little Sahara. I'll bet there are not many 3 wheelers out there any more. Haven't been since 87.

Ahh Lil Sahara, me and a bunch a guys from Sehorn Yamaha in Shawnee use to go up there all the time. I had the second Susuki 250 Quad that hit Okla and started racing it against the 3 wheelers. Buddy of mine at the shop couldn't wait to start grinding on the ports and had that thing where it would haul. I use to have a pic of me about 30ft in the air jumping over some folks on the ground off of a big dune. Just sold a 350 Warrior and down to just a 95 Moto 4 350 putt putter with racks and all.

My grandson was out last night, and I don't normally let him ride without a helmet, but I just wanted him for a "photo-op", so his orders were to go no higher than 2nd gear. :D

I have a 250sx Honda 3 wheeler as well, except mine has a red fuel tank instead of the white one like Dennis has. I use mine for general work around the farm and gathering cattle (much easier than a horse). I took it to the river a few times but not anymore. Got tired of tearing up my toy and my body. :(

Funny you mentioned chasing cows on an ATV 'stead of a horse. That's exactly what got me into riding a dirt bike and racing. I got sick of getting thrown off of horsed and figgured if I fell off a bike it was my fault.

Those honda engines and drive lines are just about bullet proof. I've got several hours on it now, and still haven't used any oil. I forgot how much fun they are riding thru the woods and hill climbing at the farm. ;D

Sounds good, but back then I was on a RM 400 dirt bike! Silly me. Use to have a Santa Gerty bull that hated that bike, he'd chase me all over the place blowing snot and howling.

:D :D yep it does make you learn how to turn and not fall down!!

Funny thing is after you strap some cubes on a bike they will eventually follow ya anywhere.

I saw a cube feeder that mounts on your atv rack the other day. Kinda cool but I would rather be in a cab with the heater on.
I can always remember feeding with my uncle. He had an old international 3/4 ton with a 4 on the floor. He'd tie off the steering wheel, put it in granny, and jump into the back of the pickup to toss out cake. ;D

If I ever won the lottery, have to buy a ticket first, I'd retire my job and get me a big ole patch of land and grow cows. They are a pain and are stupid at times but dang I sure like messing with 'em .
