Why is that for someone like me who is one a tight budget can't afford to buy Blackclouds? They are way out of my price range at over $20 a box!

Ammo has become a luxury in some cases.
The specialty ammo is the worst.
Back in the early 80's we had a spike in ammo prices similar to what we are going through. This is what got me started in reloading.
Now, many years later, the only factory ammo I shoot is .22 rimfire.
Guess If I wanted to duck hunt, I'd have to buy steel, but a buddy gave me a half case of it 10 years ago, and I still haven't shot any of it.
I remember when I could buy .22's for 75 cents a box and a brick for less than $5. It is getting to be more of a luxury to go hunting because it is all about profit not enjoying what God gave us to see and love.
I must be a little older. We bought it at TG&Y for a penny a shot.
The prices shot up and only recovered a little. I'm thinking with the new administration we will surely get, the prices won't be at the "panic" level.
Thats why I go to the gun shows and stock up on the last day in the final hour when they wanna get rid of it all. May not be exactly what I'm after but at 50-70% off it works for me.
The wars got ammo up let alone the other stuff.
If you want to shoot "Top Name Brand Stuff" your gonna pay for it.
I thank god for the chance,I got when Hevi-Shot took me on as a pro staffer for their company.
Get to shoot the best ammo & make new friends along the way.
Plus your just so danged cute to boot!!! ;D :D ;D :D
I am not as lucky has some of you. I have a tight budget. My income is just enough to make ends meet. So some of ya may not understand why I can't afford to buy the nicer thing of life. So to have best and make friend along with the best isn't always the good. I may not have to best and have made a lot of good friends without it.

Apparently you haven't seen him much. Cute isn't how I would describe him. I'd say his best feature is his cooking ;D

I hear ya on that. The duck loads I'm shooting now (winchester and Remington) I got dirt cheap at a gun show in California several years ago. I did place an order for some Hevi-metal to try it out. 90% of my ammo I got from the bargain basement bin sale. I bow hunt with a bow that Browning stopped making even before I got it 10 years ago. I have a change piggy bank I use to pay for stuff.

I've been blessed to have made the contacts and friends I have made over the years. Many of the hunting and fishing opportunities I have had is directly related to those friends.
Thanks Bullbuster. I glad that you understand. Guys like are one of kind.
