This morning was a great morning of duck hunting.
I shot a total of six rounds this morning.
The first & second shots were on some Hooded mergansers.
Since they came from left to right...I missed both groups of 4.

I got to spend some time & learn to shoot better from left to right.

A short while later,I looked to the east & low a behold were 3 mallards hot & heavy.
I honker-ed in & waited for the just the right time to Boom Splash, Boom Splash, Boom Splash.
My first triple ever on ducks & on Mallards to boot. ;D ;D ;D

I shot down 1 more mallard this morning that landed in the tree line behind me.
I spent a good 30 minutes looking for him.
I came up empty handed on finding him.

Well here are pic's from this morning.

Great job buddy. Have the geese been around lately. I am so craving some more of what we had a couple of weeks ago.

Guage, good job today buddy. I went out this morning and pulled a double myself. I managed to shoot both a drake and hen shoveler. When I fugure out this picture post thing Ill post them up. I went out late this morning, I got in my blind around noon and set up my deeks, started calling like mad and in they flew. Shot the one in lead splash he went then re racked and put the next one down. Down she went. One went in front of my blind and the other went behind my blind. I coudn't believe it. The rest of the day they kept flying in but were out of range. I would shoot as they were coming in but my impatience kept me from letting them get close enough. Im going back out Wendesday ;)
