People are hoarding the TP because they are afraid the government is going to force a quarantine.

Starting to think this may be a bunch of bull. They may be using this supposed crisis to steal more of our liberties. I havent seen any sick people have you? All I've seen is panic. Jadehelm 16 comes to mind. If this supposedly gets bad and they force a quarantine we are being taken over. If while in quarantine the internet goes out followed by the electricity then get ready. They will then begin to disarm us. If you resist you will go to a camp for sick people where you will "succumb" to the illness at least that's what they'll tell your next of kin.

If you've been to town in the last couple of days, I can almost guarantee that you've seen a carrier and you and the carrier has no idea. Asymptomatic folks will be everywhere. 6420 cases out of 330,441,184 US citizens at this time, so your odds of seeing a confirmed sick person are extremely rare, even more so in a rural area as we are. Life goes on, just a differently for a few weeks.

I still think it's a made up disease to help separate us from our liberties. 21 million people in the US supposedly had the swine flu yet I've never met anyone who said they had it. No one panicked and bought all the toilet paper or groceries. Something just doesnt pass the sniff test with me on this. Plus the chi-coms started it so who's to say they aren't trying to wreck our economy because Trumps trade agreement ruined theirs. Just glad I live in rural area and dont have to be among all those scared liberals.

I always make it a point to counter their whining & bitching with common sense and facts and proof of my points. Pi$$es them right off. I giggle. The one guy works for the Federal Works Union and is firmly an abortion fan (never had any kids) so I asked him why he's all for representing the little guy against Big Brother but he isn't willing to represent the little baby from someone who wants to kill it. No logical answer in 3 yrs.

Much of that could very well be true. What are two major things that didnt exist during the swine flu that exist today?

Swine flu could have been their first attempt to try to scare everyone. They may have not had quite the monopoly on media and platforms such as FB that they do now. They've lulled most into complacency and know that a huge percentage of people will believe what comes across the screen on cnn. They've always told everyone how long it takes to test a medicine or create a vaccine and now by some miracle they've made one in a matter of weeks. So line up in the chute and put your arm out and let the government make it all better comrade. I'm sure record of your Corona vaccine will be added to your REAL ID. Sorry sir we can't allow you on the plane. It says here you havent been inoculated against covid-19.

Yep. Rabid, nearly unchecked leftists, and a rabid, 100% unchecked leftist media who hates the present POTUS. There's no COVID-19 vaccine currently and won't be for 12-18 months.

The Corona virus has killed 100 people in the US since what January? I think I heard we are losing an average 120 americans to the flu every day right now. Why no panic buying from the flu? Same every year yet no panic or media hype. I still thing there I something more sinister is planned.

The general stats with sars-cov2 are: roughly 80% of people won't know they have it or only have mild symptoms, 15% will need medical intervention to recuperate, and 5% will be critical. The target demographics at risk are over 60 years old, people with cardiac disease, immuno-compromised, or people with co-morbidities like asthma, COPD, HIV, etc.
