29" trout caught on Lake Tanneycomo Mo. this morning. My wife sent this to me as the guide that took him out is a friend of ours. We will be fishing for browns with him in November.

Yes, its like 24 pounds. One larger, that died, washed up against the dock of the resort we stay at.

I kind of think it was 40 pounds and 4 ounces. Caught, weighed on Post Office Scales and then released but the fish died from the stress. I saw a special on TV about it a few years ago..the old guy that caught it cried like a baby when the fish died because he wanted to just release it at the time it was caught. Do a google on World Record Brown Trout and there is a really good article..BTW..caught on 4 pound test line that hadn't been replaced on the reel in over a year........
