Wow, thunder, lightening, and either small hail or the largest sleet I've ever seen. Covered the ground in less than 10 mins.

I had about 1" of ice and now I have 3-4" snow drifts. I'd have to say we got atleast 10-12" of snow. Work cancled today but honey to do list is in full effect.

I made it to work. We didn't get any ice up here, so with it just being snow, it wasn't too bad.
I'm thinking the road home may be a little more fun. We are up to about 6" now, and snowing hard enough that visibility beyond 200 feet is impossible.
Had 1' drifts in my drive leaving this am, but I'll bet they are in the 3-4' range now. 1/10 mile of my driveway has a wheatfield thats a 1/2 mile long just north of it. We get snowed in pretty regular. I'll have to walk up the hill and get the tractor out to blade the road.

We got a few feet of snow drifts in the front yard with around 6-8" last night.
Fricking wind will not quit 50 mph + all last night and today.

Still got power & water...Last year we lost both for a week or better.
Good thing is we got propane to heat & cook with if all go's down hill again.
O and loaded up with gallons of water yesterday.

The road home from work wasn't too bad. A few white-out areas, but not bad.
The driveway wasn't bad either. Made it to the top of the hill, and got the tractor out to blade the road. Looks pretty good now. It was hard getting enough clothes on to stay warm. ;D

Well, we ended up with 4" of sleet with about a foot of snow to top it off. Wind blew all the snow off the piled up sleet to make some really big drifts on the east west roads. Good sledding and 4wheeler riding today! Just really thankfull that we didn't get freezing rain and the power stayed on!

Did a little 3 wheeling myself last night ;D
My buddy called and wanted to go out to check the traps, so you know me, off we go. We were supposed to meet after work. He called me about 1630 and said he was in the back of an ambulance with a broken leg.
He was backing his 4 wheeler up the ramp into his truck when it slipped off the side of the ramp. Put his foot down and the leg broke under his kneecap. He has a temp cast on now and will go to the ortho Dr in the morning.

Really it is too bad about your buddy. Since we had 4" of sleet then snow, it made for some fun 4 wheelin. B-I-L had his Rhino out doing some donuts like mad on that stuff.
