So who all is signing up for a controlled hunt this year? The deadline is drawing near.

I and my brother will be signing up for the Lexington Deer hunts for sure. Not sure what my employment status will be so probably won't try for anything further out this year. I just can't afford to go to far till I have a job and have been working for a while.

So post up what hunts you plan on signing up for.

I put in for 4 Big Mac hunts and 1 to Wichita Mtns for deer. Spring Turkey, and Antelope. Already got drawn for Elk, so Im done there leaving the door open for you guys.

Put the SIL & me in for the gun hunts at #1 James Collins, #2&3 Okmulgee then Ft Gibson and the spring turkey hunt @ Ft Gibson. Then of course the elk hunt.

Seems to be fewer hunts offered this year and most seem to be a doe fest. Wish they'd open up the open season on public hunting lands to doe hunting, but that's been discussed before.....

I put in for an extended either sex deer here in Oregon. This tag will allow me to hunt deer from August 29th through February.
