My step-son and I went out thursday evenig and found a nice doe out on the wheat field. He made a nice shot on her and dropped her in her tracks. It was his 2nd deer ever and the first in 2 years. She went right at a 100 lbs dressed. After Thursday evening we didn't see another deer all weekend. I was wondering if it my have been because of the 80 degree temp.?

Did anyone else have slow to no deer movement????????

While duck hunting this weekend, we seen 4 deer- 2 bucks & 2 doe's.
Even with all the shooting going on they were out and about.
9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. is when we seen the deer.

I figured as much for the early- mid morning time & not to much movement for the even.
80 degree weather...I'm sure played havoc on deer movement.

Went to my lease this weekend for the first time this season. Didnt get squat. Saw a few yearling does and not one buck. Nothing moving but the skeeters.
