We got an inch of rain, and some small hail. Got real lucky. He had a tornado on the ground right before we left work. It was north of us about 3/4 of a mile, but the edge of the high winds sure whipped the coal dust off the pile. It tore the front off of one of the casino's, and did light damage to a house. Thats all I could see from the road.

We got hit rather hard here in the city. Lots of wind and hail damage. South in Moore had a couple twisters roll through. My Chief (the one i report to in my shop) had half his roof taken off and shed relocated. Fence is no place to be found. He got it bad. Another coworker had cantaloupe sized hail punch holes in her car.

My metal shed in the back yard has a few dents but other than that my place made it OK. I'm stuck here at work for the night. Sirens went off we packed 100 people into a the male bathroom for 45 minutes. That wasn't very fun.

Will have to see what the rest of this has to offer.

Oh I spoke to kelly, gauges boss, and she said they just had wind and rain is all.

they had pics on the OKC news this morning of hail that had completely penetrated a roof, and fell into the living areas of a house. That is some might big hail.

Well is shaping up to be one hell of a nasty night tonight. Already 1 twister on the ground in OK and just a few moments ago they showed a live video feed of a funnel cloud but it broke up before hitting the ground.

For those that may be interested here are 2 of the sites I keep up and running for up to the minute weather.

http://www.wunderground.com/ At the top punch in your zip, then under current conditions click on High Def Radar, at the top of the radar click animate map (wait for it to reload) then click storm tracks (wait for relaod), then click show severe. You can zoom in also if you like. We use this at work all the time for weather watching.

http://www.news9.com/ Clisk weather tab at top and then on the right click storm tracker. Once map loads click location, enter zip. Under the weather tab click National, under the severe tab click today, catagorical is usually already checked. On the left next to the time clock click the play symbol and it will animate map. Notice the cars on the map as they are storm chasers and you can get live video from their cars by clicking on any one of them.

HOLLY COW!!!!!!! Talk about a crazy wet day. Some parts of NW OKC have as much as 30 feet of flood water. My place is fine but we got the rest of the day off.

Hope the rest of you are doing alright.

I had the grandson at Kaw lake on a camping trip. We got rained out about midnight when water started coming into the tent. We came home and went back out this am to find our lines but they were underwater. Kaw was coming up one inch an hour

Wheee, spent the rainy day Monday re-tarping roofs for the in-laws. It's amazing how Sunday I almost had 4 heat strokes and Monday I was wet and worried about hypothermia!

WOW got very lucky tonight. I nearly had to use the boat on my own street to do water rescues. I had to bust out the waders and help get cars unstuck. We had 4 feet of water in the street and yard. We had water a foot from coming in the house. A neighbor wasn't so lucky they had 3/4 of the house with water. I got lots of pics and will get them loaded up later.
Hope everyone else in the area made it through this flash flooding ok.

I've been watching all the flash flooding in OKC. Looks like a 13 yr old boy may have drowned. Really feel bad for his family.
