Went yesterday to get a carton of smokes and my use to be $16 a carton smokes are now $32. As of 1 April they'll be $6.50 more. So I'm mopeing around with a Commit losenge in my lip like a dip.

Saw Tulsahunter today and told him that with the new $60 a carton cigs and most folks gonna be quitting smoking around the same time and getting cranky and we all bought new guns since last Sept, it might get a bit hairy outside!

Wow that's quite an increase..darn glad I quit..I think I have finally quit for good..Haven't had an erge in over 3 months..well since I graduated.. I can even have a few beers and not want one so I think I finally kicked it. Sure has increase the money we have extra.. I also started back to drinking cheap beer by the can.. Recycle and more beer..

That is so dumb. If they make everyone stop smoking where are they going to get all the tax money from? $10.00 gallon of milk?

I quit a 2 pack a day habit in 1975 when it went from .35 a pack to .50 cents. Just couldn't afford it any more.
