Sasakwa and I were talking yesterday about weather a feeder would do any good this year the the huge persimmon crop on all the trees. I took this pic of a small grove of them with the 8" trunks bent to the weight of all the persimmon's. I'll bet there are several hundred pounds on each tree to bend them that far.

With all the natural food, they might not want a feeder??

WOW!!!! and it looks like there's going to be a zillion acorns too.

These trees are in my front yard. Yesterday the wife saw a doe and fawn feeding on the persimmons, and this morning on the way to work I saw a young fork horn take off when the headlights hit him. ;D ;D They love em'. ;D
