I didn't realize the contest was up and running yet. I caught these 2 trout this past Saturday (10 Aug) at the Lower Mountain Fork River. I caught a 3rd trout after this pic was taken, but I didn't get a pic of it, and it probably would've only been borderline 12" minimum. I did estimate these at between 15-17" (based on my yellow 20" mark on my rod, just in case I caught a brown trout).

Got camp set up for Muzzleloader opener early, so decided to do some fishing in Okherps pond Friday evening. Caught 12 fish. 7 Crappie, 4 Blue gill, 1 Bass. Just posting pic of each species instead of 12 separate pics.

Nice! Its the time of year when there is so much to do in the outdoors that there is just not enough time. ;D

Tell herp to get back on!
Okherp you'll have to give me a shout if you get back down there. This is where I'm at now.. I took a teaching job down there. that's home for me. 405-343-1121.

Just got in from trout fishing Lake Tanneycomo for 8 days. The cold front coming through mid week pretty much put the fish in lock jaw mode.
It was pretty steady the rest of the time. 95% were with the fly rod, the others with power bait.
All I have to say is that the other team should be happy I got tired of taking pics of them. The eight that got cleaned were gill hooked, bleeding and would have died. The knife is 11 1/2" long for reference. I have an 18" brown on a camera to download later.

16" brown

15" brown

Awesome Dennis. What's the total?
Nice catch Dennis, looks like a good time on calm water.
Tanny's in a canyon of sorts. 300' bluffs on one side, and high hills on the other. Never seen more than a ripple on the water in 26 years of fishing there.
Nice catch. They will eat good for awhile.

24 pics of different trout that met the 12" minimum. Close to 3X that many that I didn't take pics of and don't count, plus the runts caught. That's an amazing trout fishery.
Nice catch. They will eat good for awhile.
Already grilled, digested, and left in a pile. ;)

Always fresh, never frozen.
