Was on my wife's uncles place the other evening, and saw this little buck pass by me at 25 yds. I let him go, but he wandered across the fence where they lease hunting by the gun, by the day. Somebody in there new almost every day. I don't hunt there often, and when I do its to take a doe, but when he crossed the fence into the cut corn field, they started shooting at him from about 400 yds. They missed him, but in going back over the fence, he hooked his back leg between the top, and second fence, and took a nasty tumble. He got up but his left rear leg was broken. He hobbled across the wheat field, and I made the decision to take him, instead of letting him die in the woods. He'll be good eating.
Went back to my honey hole yesterday where the "magic circle of death" is located. This 110lb doe came walking into the woods, stepped into the circle, and got a 240 grain HP +P. from the Kimber ;D He ran about 30 yds and crashed.
