I use 7828ssc for 270 Win, but the data for that powder looks good. I‘ve been using the same load for close to 20 years and don’t like change.
My local shop has the monopoly around here on reloading stuff and they charge according. It’s not often I buy from them even though I like to support small local business. I’d did pay inflated costs for my cans of GOEX FFg but I hadn’t seen it anywhere else. Supply and demand in that case.I use Hybrid H100V, probably still have 9lbs of it. Powder Valley probably still has 8lb kegs for $250 before tax and hazmat...so $300 by the time it reaches your door. Way better than $68/lb. That local shops prices are higher than giraffe nuts.
It is an H4350 burn rate that gives you good velocity and mediocre temperature stability. It would definitely be good in the .270 and with lighter bullets (145 and less) in the 7 mag...although you'll end up with a poor case fill (velocity ES and SD will suffer) in the mag.
It gives great performance in the Creedmoors.
I’ve read several articles about it. Can’t believe I’d never heard or seen it before.Ask, and ye shall receive...😄

That’s good to know. I do have a pound of H4831SC.Perhaps better 7 mag substitutes in stock (as of my writing this) are:
7828SSC (160-170gr bullets).
H4831SC (150-160gr bullets...and EXTREMELY temp stable).
N165 (140-155gr bullets).
The 7828 is in stock at PV right now.I’ve read several articles about it. Can’t believe I’d never heard or seen it before.

I’ll keep watch for the 7828 as my Rem 700 likes the heaver stuff. Been shooting 175gr in it for 20 years now.
You Sir...have "gold".I have Retumbo so that’s also a plus.
