Would have liked to see something longer than a 4" blade. But it did its duty. That's what counts.

Soak in buttermilk and smoke on a grill. Used to have an old Portuguese butcher has back in Cali that could make boot liner taste like a million bucks. Used to have him make linguisa out of the boars.

I'd soak it 12-24 hours. Have you never soaked any wild game in buttermilk before? Linguisa is like a kilbosa sausage. However that's a Portuguese name for it. You can find recipes online.

I'll do birds as well. Helps tender up the meat and takes game taste out.

Make your own buttermilk at home.
Step 1:pour 1 cup of milk into a bowl.
Step 2: Grab one small fresh lemon or white vinegar. Stir in a tablespoon or two of lemon juice OR vinegar into the bowl with the milk. Stir to combine. ...
Step 3: Use in place of buttermilk in the recipe as it calls for. Enjoy!
