While out scouting today for early teal & resident Canada goose season for tomarrow.
I came across fresh hog sign and all over the place where my duck blind was last season.
Then,I looked up and their were 6 of them 300 yards out...NO GUN. :mad: {figures}
They tore up ground from the size of a garbage bag to as big as a swimming pool. :eek:
O' and their eating fresh water clams like they were going out of style.

So tomarrow were going after all 3 species..Hog,Teal & C.Geese.

Now that has to be a wonderfull sight, early morning sitting in the duck blind. Decoys bobbing in a cove and then you hear it, the wind whistling thru their nostrils as a flock of Canada Teal Pigs comes in to the decoys. Boom, boom boom, three splashes in the water as you nailed some good ones, but the retriever looks at you like you've lost your freekin' mind and goes back to the truck.

Well, it was slow...very slow today.

No hogs this morning...Just 1 Dove & 1 Blue Wing Teal.
The Canada's got shot up in the field before they ever got to the lake.

Their is always tomarrow though.
