I'm in the market for a new pair of hunting boots as my Rocky boots soles decided to dissentergrate last fall and my Wolverines are starting to take a dump. Now it costs $100 to have boots resoled so I've been looking for some new ones but can't find any that are as comfy as my old ones were. What kind do you all have and have had good luck with?

The cheap o's @ Wally World Bramas.
Their camo,waterproof & around $30-40 bucks.
They also have the air-bob sole that you like so much too Bird.
Well I got mine at Academy I think they are wolverines or something but regular price was well over $100 but got em on clearance for like $50 and damn are they comfy..:)
I have a pair of Rockies that I got at Academy on sale for around $100 several years ago. I love em, gotta buy a new pair though, I liked em so much that I was wearing them to work running a dozer and got one covered in oil. :( So much for scent control ::) ::)
I bought my last pair of Boots from Sears  Hey don't knock it,not only where they A great pair of boots after 5 years of some serious abuse, the soles blew-up and they gave me a new pair of equal value,Now I don't now about there, but here they have a great selection of Boots at Sears,Life time Guarantee ;D
For guys like us that will go threw 5-10 pairs in a life, you can't beat that deal ;)

Sportsman's guide. Called Baffin Insulated rubber boot, around $40. I use them for hunting and fishing.Best boot I have found.Cheap too.
That sounds like a heck of a deal Kele, I'd of gone thru a buch of boots if they'd of had that many many years back.

Farmboy, I know what ya mean, it's hard to get a great comfy pair of boots and only wear them for hunting. I have a pair that I just couldn't leave at home when I worked on airplanes and got them all soaked in JP-8 jet fuel. They did air out in about 3 years.
I stick with Danner boots myself. I got a pair of snake boots and a pair of the pronghorn hunting boots. Right of the box they fit great. I had a pair of Danner snake boots that had a small water leak and danner not only replaced them but upgraded me to a new and more expencive pair free of charge. By the way the snake boot really do work I had a rattler take a try at them last summer and no problem for me.

I'll bet you had to clean out your shorts after that
So they work well repelling strikes from snakes but how good were they at stomping said snake?

Probably not much of an issue with all the bullet holes in it.
;) Yep it make it a lot easier to stomp 'em that way.
I pulled it off the boot and let it go ;D

this is an old thread but oh well.
i got a pair of those boots for work, but not camo and not waterproof.
the pair i have is already cracking and what not. and i only cook for a living
idk how they would hold up in the woods. it may just be the different
pair that i got, the camo waterproof ones may hold up better.

I've had mine for over 4 years now & I still wear um.
it musta just been the ones i got then. cuz ive had mine maybe 4 months
and they are cracking where they bend bad. oh well.
C.W.~ are they leather?
Mine are made of curdura, the rubber air sole will wear out before the material.
I need to re-spary them down with 3M...They are no longer waterproof anymore.
