Why is it that this time of year allergies all make you miserable? I can't stand it when I'm coughing, sneezing and can't breathe. I don't know how you guys coupe with allergies but I take allergy medicine out the yazoo and maybe a shot apple pie moonshine once in awhile. I know one thing for sure turkey season is just around the corner and I didn't need this.

My allergies got worse when I moved here 23 years ago. I never had problems growing up in Missouri and when I was stationed at Ft. Riley, KS.

It’s the d*mn pine trees in Texas and not cedars. The air will be yellow with it in probably 30 days.
We have lots of cedars but it's the oak trees around here that produce the yellow pollen. It's so heavy you can write you name on the hood of the truck.
I know you already have an order in, but for general info, you can buy this from Amazon, Walmart, Whole Foods, Ebay, or a couple others. It pays to shop around.
I think it's $18 on amazon and almost $30 at whole foods.

I told my son about it so hopefully he looks into it. He’s 19 so he’s old enough to figure it out.
Since we moved here he’s become allergic to the animals. Bear, antelope,
Deer and elk. He touches them and breaks out into hives within a few minutes. Never happened with the whitetail in OK. Plus he sneezes really bad when we go to the mountains. He also quit hunting this past fall as it was so bad for him.

I paid $26 shipped for it, and it’s already on the way.

I have been battling allergies all my life. My ear, nose and throat guy is going to do a sinus cat scan on me Friday. He thinks I have some sort of deep sinus issue. I have tooth pain that the dentist can't fix-roots protrude into sinus cavity. He suspects scarring from years of mostly untreated sinus infection. This kind of thing can affect hearing and vision also. Both issues I have.

My left eye has been weeping for two months. Allergy eye drops do nothing. I wake up with it half sealed shut in the morning and during certain days wipe white matter from it often. Eye Doc says allergies.

My brother had to take shots quite often as a youngster and I could roll around in all the pollen I wanted to with no problem. 45 years later he has no problems and I'm the one with the allergies but only in the fall for about 45 days when the "the yellow death" pollen covers every thing.

I'm finally starting to getting over mine. I'm not coughing as much and breathing better. Now maybe I can concentrate on turkey season.

I’ve taken two doses of Allegena so far, and I spend half the day working outside and half at a heifer sale. I’m not stopped up and haven’t had a sneezing fit all day.(y)

Allegena, huh? May have to try that. I'm trying what the Doc said, rotating my OTC allergy meds. I switched to Allegra (generic) about ten days ago, and it just ain't cutting it.

DOH!!!! Never mind! Went back to Dennis' original post that showed the bottle! Getting ready to order some. Are you guys taking it three times a day like the label says, or has once a day been getting you by?

I’ve only been taking it in the mornings. Seems to work for me. Others may need two doses.

Well I had the sinus cat scan. No Polyps found. That's good. Scaring found indicating a long history of sinus infections. Yep, I can verify that.

Endoscopic out patient surgery recommended. Dr. said it was to a degree, that my insurance should be contacted for pre approval as some treat it as elective.

Should improve quality of life. Scan did not show protruding teeth, but scarring is present in the area where the teeth should be. If I have the surgery it should improve my sense of smell and taste. It may also solve my dry mouth issues. The scarring blocks breathing passages and cause mouth breathing when sleeping.

I'm sorry to say the Allergena doesn't seem to be helping me a bit. I've been using it for roughly three weeks now, as well as taking Zyrtec or Allegra. I've only been using it once a day, but damn! I'll try two or three doses a day.
