I thought Death Valley was in California!! Oklahoma sure does feel like it with all the hot weather and no rain. Now I know why it is called "No Man's Land"

Re: I thought Death Valley was in Califronia

Pretty unusual spring. Typically we have tons of spring rains, flooded lakes, etc. this year its a drought. At my farm, we have had 3" of rain since last August...that doesn't help the crops at all.

The way things are going, It looks to be a great dove season.
Seems when the water levels are low the doves come in like hunting Mexico around here.

We need the rain big time though.

That'd be some good news Gauge, I got a Browning that needs a good shake down trip.

The dove's are in good numbers around here.
See a few hundred just about every day.

I got a pair with a nest in the tree next door. May need a .22 on them they are so big. They have gotten fat on the bird feeder food on the ground.
