I like that! Crappie fishing and turkey season - couple of very good reasons to get outta the house! Bought a 14' aluminum jon boat off a guy that will be left by our pond. Picked up a couple of stadium seats to use instead of swivel based, more permanent chairs since leaving outside. Our pond is very small so don't expect to be doing too much heavy fighting of a bass plus I can take these seats off/on then leave at bunkhouse. Putting more sealant on the bottom around all rivets so stop a few small drips from being big. Now to find a paddle.

It’s year round fishing season here. Sometimes you need a boat and sometimes you don’t.

Cats are what I can’t wait to get after. That and crappie. I enjoy running limb lines and jugs, still a little cold for me to be throwing for shad though.
Another guy from OSA has one he sent me pics of. Let me send from my phone to my laptop and will forward to you. It's a 14' with one seat and asking $300. Says there aren't any leaks. The one I picked up was only $200 but found some small leaks around a couple rivets so have to reseal the bottom(another $50). Retrieverman likely can find you one cheaper but I'll send what I have.

I’ve got a 14’ V bottom at home I need to get in the shop and clean up so I can sell it. Don’t use it anymore after getting the bass tracker.

@Wishbone It’s a little pricey per can but I can tell you that flex seal really works well. I’ve got a small boat down here at the pond covered in it.
Already have a can and rollers/brushes. Started a wire brush over the entire bottom so may take me a few days until ready for another water test. Anxious to get it in the water and start jigging for crappies!

Ive been going to the pond every evening for a week or so and hitting a couple crappie and small bass. Something about just getting down there and at least just watching the ducks while I’ll pretend to fish makes for a nice evening. I should start posting photos

We will be getting back home from Arizona in a few days if we don’t get snowed in tonight.
First order of the day will be to get the tracker out and head for the creeks to catch the sand bass run. Water temp in Kaw is at 50*. They should be schooled up at the creek mouths now.
