I live in r e d n e c k central here in east TX, and there’s jon boats for sale all the time. PM me your number, and I’ll send you what I find. You’ve got the setup! Looking for a jon boat myself but not having much luck yet.
Another guy from OSA has one he sent me pics of. Let me send from my phone to my laptop and will forward to you. It's a 14' with one seat and asking $300. Says there aren't any leaks. The one I picked up was only $200 but found some small leaks around a couple rivets so have to reseal the bottom(another $50). Retrieverman likely can find you one cheaper but I'll send what I have.Cats are what I can’t wait to get after. That and crappie. I enjoy running limb lines and jugs, still a little cold for me to be throwing for shad though.
Already have a can and rollers/brushes. Started a wire brush over the entire bottom so may take me a few days until ready for another water test. Anxious to get it in the water and start jigging for crappies!@Wishbone It’s a little pricey per can but I can tell you that flex seal really works well. I’ve got a small boat down here at the pond covered in it.
Ive been going to the pond every evening for a week or so and hitting a couple crappie and small bass. Something about just getting down there and at least just watching the ducks while I’ll pretend to fish makes for a nice evening. I should start posting photosAlready have a can and rollers/brushes.
