Went to the Dr. Friday, and finally got to get rid of the cast/splint, at least during the day. Its amazing how much the muscles atrophy in just 4 weeks.
The bad news is that my bow hunting days are officially over :'( :'(
I guess the good news is that he is going to write me a crossbow permit. Never have been a big crossbow fan, but, guess I am now. I sure don't want to be sitting at home all bow season

Bummer news 'bout the shoulder and bowhunting. Good news is you get to go shopping for a new crossbow and all the gear. Hummm know anyone needing to sell a bow......

Hope your wing gets up to snuff soon.

I guess I'm pretty nieve about crossbows. Do you have to grab the string to cock them, or is their a crank? ???

Thanks for that info about cocking. I went to the Excaliber site, and learned a lot. I guess there is still time before Oct 1 to get ready
