After the 3 business day waiting period(5 days if you count the weekend). I finally got the AR home. Got the scope mounted last night, and just waiting for the weekend to get it out to shoot. It has a pretty detailed break-in instructions to follow for the first 90 rounds. I guess that just means that I'll have to shoot it a lot?? ;D ;D ;D

Two things wrong with it ole Buddy...first of all it ain't mine...and you need to do something with that metal stud where your sling would attach...it sure would chip a guys car window... ;D ;D ;D
Not kidding, you sure have a nice gun...I look forward to shooting it with ya....
Nice gun...SNIPER-Dennis ;D

Not if you glue a piece of leather on the bottom side like a good ******* hillbilly would do ;) ;) ;D

Looks heavy - If you need someone to come carry it around for you, I'm availible!! ;D ;D ;D ;)

Sweet lookin rifle you got there, I like the Nikon too! What power is it?
Its a 6X24X50mm Monarch. Now I've just got to find some coyotes, and prarie dogs.

Maybe the leather or asbestos like on the model 12...drill a couple of holes thru the stock, put two different screws in the butt and never forget to wrap electrical tape around the front of the scope..yes ...I have one that still has the tape on it...anyway....do all that and it would be a true Sasakwa Hillbilly gun...sure would be purtty tho........ ;D ;D
I'm thinking I'm a little cut above the electrical tape thing. I'm an elistist by definition. I'd use duct tape ;)
Forgot to ask earlier, but in the top photo there is a can of Krylon spray paint, did ya paint the gun after the pics???? ;D

I continue to be amazed in how observant you are Bird! Glad to be on a team with you. With your obviously acute ocular skills, and dead reconning reasoning in seeing a can of spray paint, I can see how you would put 2+2 together and actually get 4!! ;)

But! at this point in time, It is still an UBR.

(Ugly Black Rifle) ;D ;D ;D
With plenty of fire power though...Can't forget that Dennis. ;)
Proud to be your teammate Dennis, you being a fellow BRO, that's Black Rifle Owner, but unfortunatly all my ocular skills have done for me is get me working at tracking hurricane flights this weekend. Still working on getting 4 out of the 2+2 formula tho... let's see 2 and 2 equals 3...no....dang it!
;D ;D
