Need to go cheek the turkey guns today to see how they will do with new chokes & new ammo.
Guns: Benelli Super Nova / Mossberg 935.
Choke Tubes...Primos JellyHead for the Benelli Super Nova.
Brileys Hevi-Shot Turkey For the Mossberg 935.
Ammo: Hevi-Shot~ Hevi 13
12 Gauge 3" 2 oz 6shot
12 Gauge 3 1/2" 2 1/4oz 6shot.

I shot twice @ every target to cheek for consistent grouping.
Red dot was from the 1st shot.
Blue dot was from the 2nd shot.
After 6 rounds,I had to give up on patterning the 3 1/2" for the Mossberg 935.
{My shoulder was done in}.

Here are the test from today's patterns, All ='ed dead turkeys some were better dead.

Once the image works again ??? ??? ,I'll post the pics.

I don't know why but my Citori O/U with the standard full choke, patterns better than anything that I shoot, but I'm holding out for the Model 12 Win I'm restoring. I got the first stock coat on it yesterday, and will work on another tomorrow. I'm planning on about 5 coats. Its in a full choke, and I'm hoping that the old classic will hold a good pattern for the turkey. I have to get it to a guy in tulsa that does the rust bluing prevelant during the time the gun was built. I've been a slacker on this rebuild. I guess I'd better get busy if I'm going to use it.

Dennis,
It is crazy how some guns, choke tubes and ammo will effect your pattern.
Hope your model 12 holds true for you for turkey hunting.

I hope,I got the kinks out & can show the pics now.
