with all the fires we had out west had anybody checked out haw the some of the hunting areas did ??

if not i will run out and check on some of them soon .

i am ready for quail & pheasant hunting + dove

Haven't been west too much this summer, but did make it to the farm last week saw a couple of hen pheasants with their broods, and have heard more quail whistling this spring than I have in many years. All the reports I'm getting say that this is going to be a banner year for quail. ;D

this rain will help here ,what little we got.
a lot of doves out this way . we do have some quail for now if i can keep all the cats away from them.

Sounds like you need to get some cat traps.

cooper ft supply and those all made it that fire shouldnt have burned anything public now it did but 6500 to 7k of our ground but its all good it kinda needed it

ive been seenin several pheasants around our farm but lot more when i was out west of marland few miles. im in north central part

i checked out american horse lake out here it looks like it will be a good dove but have not seen any quail yet
