Do any of you guys have highspeed internet through Wavelinx or Satellite intenet? Only reason I ask is my brother-in-law and his wife are moving out a bit from town and can't use Cox or AT&T and the only options they have is either Wavelinx or Satellite service through WildBlue...SO if anyone has used either give me an opinion of what ya thought of them...

While I don't have any of the mentioned services, I did look into getting sat internet and chose not too. Luckily I get DSL out here in the boonies. Sat internet is going to be like my sat TV, when it rains, it'll prob'lly go out till it stops raining. Plus it is just a bit slower than non-sat service cause it is a looong way up to that satalite and back. But still a heck of a lot faster than dial up.

I read(two years ago) in Consumer reports that the only Sat network I can get was as slow or slower than dial up. Maybe it has sped up now.

I have DSL , when it is working it is faster than what I have at work.

Well unfortunately for my brother-in-law his only option where he lives for TV is Satellite, and for internet his options are WaveLinx wifi internet or Wildblue Satellite internet..SO I was hoping maybe someone had used either of those...
