Been totin' around an 870 for a lot of years. Guess I kind of like 'em.

I love the Rem 1100's. Taken all but 2 of my pheasant with one. Which BTW is the only game animal/ bird I'm 100% on with the first shot. But then I have only shot about 20 in my life.

I'd still take a new 870 anyway.

+1 on the 1100's. I have several shotguns, but if I were hungry and needed to feed the family, the 1100 in the safe is my "go to" meat gun. I have two barrels for it, one a vent rib full choke, and the other is a 19 1/8" cylinder bore. Heavy shotshells, and I'm good to go. ;D
