If its anything like my .243 WSSM AR, it will be expensive as heck unless you reload. Makes it reasonable to shoot rolling your own. ;D

Heck, with the limited availability of most ammo, rolling your own is getting really good looking. I've about 500+ 45acp and that many .223 in the last couple of months just to be able to shoot any at all.

It seems Americans are sick of the crap :mad: .
The local police dept around here can't even get enough ammo in for practice. ??? ::)
Make's ya feel safe ::) don't it?

The Remington 30 AR is a new caliber...Just in case y'all thought it might be a new rifle.

I read the first reports on that new cartridge. Designed to work in the short action AR. There are so many new cartridges out now for the AR platform, its hard to decide.

I have noticed that some of the prices for bullets, primers, and loaded ammo is starting to go down somewhat. I got a new Midway flyer yesterday, and called them about availability of some loaded .380 ammo for my mouse gun. They had plenty it sounded like.

Read an article in anothe forum about the ammo shortage. It said that with the new business model of not keeping huge inventories in werhouses, that to meet rising demands it isn't just pump out more product and presto, demand met. This goes all the way down the supply chain to the miners that have to dig up the material to make the cases, powder and bullets. Does sound plausible and most likely the truth, as big inventories have been labled as a "liability" to modern business. So let's all get a shovel and dig up some ammo makin material and help out the shortages!!!

I'm thinking all the hoarders are reaching the limits of their wallets and storage space.

The real shame is that I bet the ammo makers haven't seen the profits from the big price hikes. Oh they've made money, but the guys buying all of Wally Worlds ammo and then selling it for twice what he paid for it isn't doing the industry any good at all. Well except to keep WW in stock.
