I used to go with my Grandpa up Beaver Creek with his 9ft water skamp every spring. We'd take minnows and tube jigs and jig the brush piles. We would fill up one full ice chest of crappie and sandies. Those were fond memories. I gave his boat away about a year ago to a guy on hard times. Maybe I need to run my kayak up there this spring!
Kind of a long paddle in a kayak, but it's doable. These constant rains are sure messing up the fishing. Roads are so muddy you can't get close making for a long walk in to Beaver Creek.
The lake is currently only 1.5 ' high so if it will warm up and dry out a little, it might be pretty good fishing.
