I hear you on the stinker/grinner pics...........I could have won the contest by myself last year if I'd taken a pic of everyone of them! Nice catch!

Just getting rid of the nest robbers is a plus. We will never get ahead. Danged possums can have 10 or more baby's to start the breeding cycle all over again.
What brand are your **** cuffs? I want to try some of those. Where can I get them here in the city? What are you baiting them with?
I'm using Lil Griz and Z-traps. I think the Lil Griz are called something else now. Found the Grizz used on a trapping forum, bought the Z-traps from Oklahoma trapping supply out of Crowder, Ok. Use dry cat food and crayfish oil, or marshmallows.
I've been using the Sterling little grizz **** cuffs.
Before setting the trap, I put a large marshmallow behind the trigger. These traps are set off when the **** pulls the trigger, not when going in. Then fill up the trap with the bait, and scatter some small marshmallows around the area.
Bait is floating catfish food pellets coated with bacon grease, and sugar. I have a squirt bottle of fish oil that is sprinkled in the immediate area.
The traps are painted white, and I went one step further using an epoxy type flourescent paint on the top of the trap. ***** are courious critters, so I don't know if its necessary or not, but they are done.

One **** last night.

That's equivalent to us getting hit by a telephone pole. Lol. I bet he didn't feel a thing.

Cool!:D
My partner and I are pulling all of our traps tomorrow morning. We just got a new place to trap that has about 3 miles of river bottom, and hasn't been trapped in several years. The other (new)place that we had such high hopes for, hasn't produced anything but a few *****, and dammed few at that.

I think somebody has hit it with **** dogs before we got there. Lots of work to do tomorrow.
I shot this rabbit the other day when I took my kids out, but I was having problems with Photobucket. We were going for squirrels, but the kids were having a difficult time staying still, and my daughter really wanted a rabbit. So I shot the first one I saw. You can tell my son is thrilled to be holding it. We jumped another one, but I don't want to eradicate all the rabbits on my property. Their numbers are the highest they've ever been on my place as far as we can tell.
