Who want's to go spring turkey hunting this season in southwestern Oklahoma?
Depending on dates hunts will be either on public or private lands.
Dates open are April 6th & 7th Monday & Tuesday.
April,18th & 19th Saturday & Sunday.
May,1st Saturday- (May,2nd Sunday as well.).
One of the locations on public lands is Non-Toxic shot!!!

I canna wait, I'm getting to where I like turkel season as much or more than deer season. Plus hearing Guage get the pot call and call in a herd of pigs is something to be experienced!!!

At least the time will change this weekend & will have more time to hunt come Turkey Season. ;D

Wheew, at least we're headed in the right direction, I'd of screamed if today was the 12th!

Went and did a little scouting today. Found fresh turkey poop, so I'm pretty sure they are back in there. Most of the summer a pipeline company ran a 12" line across my property, and had the deer pretty messed up. Talked to a guy that owns a quarter about 3 miles north where I've seen a flock a few times, and he said nobody was hunting on him, and I might get to turkey hunt it at least. ;D

Nice to catch up with you and Dennis, just found the site, also on the Mossy Oak Pro Staff with you and Dennis, hope to try and make it out there this spring with my son, just need a little guidance in the new area on public land, probably try to come before April 20th, I am leaving on the 24 headed to Nebraska and then down to Kansas with some other buddies, jsut browsing through the site and think I met TNGOBBLER in Nashville with the Old Gobbler website people, enjoying the Oklahoma site
