Here is how it will run.
Members & members only of Oklahoma Hunter can enter the contests.
There will be two catagorys/contests.
[ 1st ] Individual 3 bird limit.
[ 2nd ] Individual's that only get one Turkey.


Rules:
An Jake/Or Tom defined turkey by law in " Your State of the Hunt "
3 Turkeys is the limit !!! State Law.CA & OK, except TX is 4.
You may enter into both Catagorys/Contests.
All turkeys must be scored by the way of the N.W.T.F.
This is a photo of you & the turkey.
Turkey's- Body weight on a scale in a photo.
Turkey's- Spur lengths on a ruler or tape measure in a photo.Right & Left Leg.
Turkey's- Beard/Or Beards length on a ruler or tape measure in a photo.
You then can take thoughs to the N.W.T.F, score board for a score of your Turkey.
Then post your score of that turkey here in this Thread.
I hope,Dennis H. wouldn't mind post'n that up again in this thread for all of us. We'd all appreciate it Dennis.
All,Turkeys must be of your own & not a friends or loved ones.

As an individual [ 1 ] Turkey entry...The winner will have the highest score for just the 1 turkey.
As an individual [ 3 ] Turkey entry...All of your 3 Turkeys score will be add up together.
Example...68+70+62 = Your score of 200 will be entered.
The Individual with the highest 3 Turkey scores is the winner.

Any member that enters a turkey without all proof of photos,That turkey will be disqualified.

I'll put in for #2. I usually just take one a season, but sometimes, if lucky, I'll take two. I usually just go along to help call for my hunting buddy. I get just about as much fun calling them in, especially if they are wise to the call. Get two hunters calling at the same time works on those big boys sometimes. Its amazing how hard it is for a human with a brain as big as ours is to outsmart an animal with the brain of a small pecan. :

Yeah Dennis I am looking forward to learning to turkey call.. I figure 1 turkey for me is all I can handle..We still have one in the freezer I need to cook..Probably toss it in the smoker soon though.

I've never cooked one on the smoker, but usually slice them thin and cook like chicken strips. I made last years into jerky, and friends say it is some of the best they have ever eaten. ;D It has a really unique flavor

It's great when you out wite them...That's just about as good as shoot um...Maybe.

Well I got another one to add-in,but he's just an 18 lb Jake with maybe the smallest Beard I've ever seen,He should be about another 26-28 points,I'll get'er done tomorrow,I smacked him this morning early and didn't feel like waiting it out for the bigger toms to make it my way,A)it wasn't a given they would,B)there was a big fat good eating Jake about 30-35 yards with 4 to pick from,So I smacked him,and he laid motionless for five minutes,Then started fluttering A LITTLE,BUT I SMACKED HIM GOOD,I THINK HE WAS OUT,UNCONSCIOUS.He had ten + BB's in his brain,more all over his head/neck,and a couple on his beack ;D I was in a hurry to go do some Bow fishing for carp,My Chef skills payed off,I have Free Room and board any-time I want to come up and cook dinner,and access to his many/many leases He even took me out and showed me 4 of the 10+ he has 8) Jack-Pot,Deer everywhere,I've seen three while turkey hunting all ready ;D
