Smokewagon, got my mags from Midway just before I left for Michigan, but they looked pretty decent. Follower moves smothly. Finish might be a bit light but don't really care about that.

My stoner mags in .223 work great. Nice price tool

Yeah, think I'm going to be happy with them. I sure need to get on a hog hunt and try that rifle out.

It was a quick turnaround, but the DOD outlawed everything but issued aluminum mags for the M16. Previously the units had an option to buy the PMAGS, and they were so much more reliable.
It only lasted a couple of days, then they came back with a directive that PMAGS were Ok. They even had a part #! How stupid was this?

Think the issue was with some other brands of poly mags other than PMag. The other brands were having some malfunction issues which prompted the ban on all poly mags, then they remembered that PMags were included. Plus you have to remember that the Army has got to be so proud of the new follower fix. I mean it's only taken them a quick 30+ years to fix the GI mags......
