Recount please for March 6. Six fish reported and posted, not five. Point total that day is 6 points not 5.

There was a seventh fish, but no pictures were taken. That fish wouldn't have counted any way as bag limit is 6 fish.

But I did catch six counters on March 6.
FYI, the bag limit of 6 is only on public waters. Private waters not stocked by the state do not have a limit.

There is a section of the Arkansas river by Ponca city that has devolved a deep hole, deep being about 8’ deep that’s a half mile long and 75 yds wide. Rode the 4 wheeler down there this morning with some spinners catching 9 sand bass and two black bass. The black bass are destined for our new farm pond as stockers.
The sand bass are destined for catch and release into crisco bay.;)

LOL. Got a giggle from that. Then I read your post to my wife and she wanted to know where on Arkansas River that was. I got a seconded bigger laugh.
Right now anywhere on the Arkansas River one can find a deep hole it will likely hold sandbass.
They migrate up the Arkansas River from Keystone lake as far as they can before spawning. Some peel off into the tributaries that feed the main river.
I have some holes in those that I’ll be checking soon.
Meanwhile, went to Ponca lake today and landed 4 hybrid stripers from the bank.

Nice haul Dennis. I'm currently sidelined with a severely sprained ankle. I've been on crutches for 3 days and will likely be in them through part of next week. I hope to get out and about the waters pretty soon.
Get better soon. This isn’t the time of year to be limping around.
