My all time favorite is the Large Mouth Bass.
I have caught over 20 of them over the 10lb mark.
My biggest to date is a 15.2 from CA- Castic Lake.
Followed by a 14.2 from right here in OK-Medicine Creek.

I do like the bass but for a really good fight and fun the old blue cat is hard to beat in these parts. Most of the time it's the bass I'm after tho.

I've always been a pond bass fisherman, but consider any fish that give me a good fight a trophy. I don't care if its a drum, or a largemouth. ;D
That being said, Guage those are some really impressive bass! I've always said that a 10 lb would go on my wall ;)

Yep, I'm a ponder too. Got this one many years ago. It was 27.5" long 18" girth and should have been a record bass at the time. But it had a broken back, big C shape down it's back. Weighed 5.5lbs but made a heck of a mount even tho the taxidermist cut off 2.5".

Walleye, Love to catch em and love to eat them. Smallmouth are my second favorite.
Don't get to go as much as used to but still enjoy it. by the way, we really slay the crappie in the spring at Overholser. I am not from the city, but a transplant.
We sometimes head over to the fishing dock and get a nice mess of em in April and May.
It is kind've hit and miss, but when they are on it is really good.

Thanks ya'all.
It took sometime to figure out how to catch big bass.
It's still a learning game today.
Been lucky enuff to catch at least 1 over 10 pound every year for 3 years now.

Timing is the key issue into hooking ya a Hawg Bass.

The secret to Walleye fishing is to be prepared.
And by prepared I mean making sure you do not run
out of beer and Crown! ;D
